Except for the first four lessons for learners ALL flyers must show MAAA CARD/RECIEPT before flying

TRANSMITTERS & FREQUENCY KEYS
1-1 On first arrival in pit area with equipment, transmitters are to go straight to the transmitter compound.
1-2 A frequency key must be in the frequency board before removing transmitter from compound.
1-3 Only ONE frequency key/flyer is permitted in the board at any one time. Frequency key must show flyer’s name and frequency.
1-4 Removal of frequency key from board is your responsibility. So be considerate.
1-5 27 Mhz flyer’s may only operate when NO 29 & 36 Mhz frequencies are in use.
MODEL AIRCRAFT STARTING
2-1 Model aircraft are only to be started once they are tethered or held by an assistant.
2-2 Aircraft are only to be started on the grassed areas. This can be on the ground or on the mobile elevated pits.
2-3 During motor run-ups ensure no dust or dirt is blown towards the pit area.
2-4 Never stand inline with a spinning propeller.
PRE TAKE-OFF
3-1 Aircraft should be taxied or carried to a point level with the flight line while you make your way to the flight line.
3-2 Once permission has been received from safety officer or other flyer’s, proceed onto active runway via the correct taxi way.
3-3 Commence take-off and enter the circuit direction being used.
3-4 No engine restarts are to be conducted beyond the flight line.
FLYING
4-1 Dead stick landings have priority over all other flying. Aircraft retrieval must be cleared with safety officer or other flyer’s.
4-2 Landing aircraft have priority over aircraft taking-off. Only one runway can be nominated for take-off.
4-3 Pits and car park are no fly zones.
4-4 Circuits are to be flown in the direction that is chosen by the safety officer or by consensus. It will be indicated on the procedures board.
4-5 Experienced flyer’s should make allowances for learner flyer’s.
4-6 Flyers must announce their intentions to other flyer’s on the flight line e.g. "Taking-off" or "Landing" and by taking one step forward while doing so.
4-7 A maximum of 5 models to be operated on the flight line at any one time.
AIRCRAFT SHUTDOWN
5-1 An aircraft should never proceed beyond the end of the taxi way with the engine running into the pit area.
5-2 When using pit tables or starting aircraft on concrete, please clean any spilt fuel or exhaust oil marks before leaving.
